Join us for the Inaugural Mason Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk

Pre-event Packet Pick-up will be held Wednesday November 22, 3:00-7:00pm at Buckeye Running Company - 4200 Aero Dr., Mason.

The race start is held at the Mason Aquatic Center parking lot in Corwin Nixon Park (Nixon Drive). There is parking at the baseball diamonds or at the Mason High School.

Our goal is to promote family, togetherness, community, giving, and an active lifestyle while supporting youths who strive in Mason Track and Cross-Country programs. Come be a part of a community alive with feel good vibes this Thanksgiving morning!! 

We have partnered this year with the Mason Comet Cupboard (run by Girl Scout Troop 44405). Mason Comet Cupboard is a COMMUNITY PARTNER. They provide weekly weekend food bags for students as well as daily food for those who are in need.  Also provided are monthly personal care packs as well as spirit wear, coats and more.  10% of the students in Mason City Schools are food insecure.

**On Race Day, we are asking for donations of: Ramen packets and Instant cups of Mac & Cheese. 

Our goal is to collect 1,000 cups of Mac & Cheese AND 1,000 Ramen Noodle packages.  Please bring your donation on RACE DAY and find us at our tent near check-in.

Out of town this Thanksgiving? Consider donating! A portion of all cash donations will go to the Comet Cupboard!

Additional proceeds benefit the Mason girls and boys Cross Country and Track & Field organizations.
